A round of applause for several SCSD high school students who attend programs at Wilson Tech and recently came home with high honors!

SkillsUSA is a national, student-led partnership of education and industry leaders committed to empowering career and technical education students to become skilled professionals, career-ready leaders and responsible community members. Recently, SCSD high school students who attend programs at Wilson Tech competed against their Long Island peers and placed in their respective SkillsUSA contests.

For High School West, congratulations to Abigail Owenburg (not pictured) for 1st place in National Anthem and 3rd place for Early Childhood Education, Carter Kelly for 2nd place for Audio Production, Thomas Semetsis for 3rd place for Industrial Motor Control and Electrical Construction Wiring, Raymond Sherwood for 3rd place for Construction and Maya DeClue for 3rd place for Architectural Drafting!
