Students from High School West's Tri-M Music Honor Society Chapter #1338 recently enjoyed a wonderful day in New York City.
The day featured a stunning performance of the Stephen Sondheim masterpiece, "Sweeney Todd" on Broadway at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater. After viewing the show West junior, Saaketh Manepalli stated, "I no longer trust my barber." West junior, Marielle Krockta, also said that "The Tri-M field trip to Sweeney Todd on Broadway was exceptional and I look forward to many more trips with the honor society."
Prior to the show, all students enjoyed a sumptuous meal at Carmine's Italian Restaurant as well as a leisurely stroll in Central Park to view the Bethesda Fountain. This was a fantastic experience for all who attended.
High School West senior Matthew Lasher, said " I am so glad we are able to have such incredible experiences and opportunities."
Thank you to Orchestra Director, Joseph Cotignola Jr, who told us, "We look forward to providing more opportunities like this for our students in the years to come."
