At 探花社区 Elementary, Principal Kakalos welcomed one of our military families, Chief Mezzapesa and his daughters, Juliana, Alexandra and Kira.
April is designated as the Month of the Military Child or “Purple Up! For Military Kids.”
Chief Mezzapesa visited Mrs. Boccio ‘s kindergarten class where students were treated to a presentation and read aloud. They learned about the branches of the military and the different countries that Chief Mezzapesa visited over the years.
"We thanked the Mezzapesa girls for the sacrifice their dad makes while he is away serving our country. What a fun filled afternoon!" Dr. Kakalos exclaimed.
