High School West students, Violet Haggerty and Sophia Enright recently participated in a Student Visionaries of the Year 2024 campaign, a philanthropic leadership development program for high school students.
Sophia and her team, Bulls Against Blood Cancer, and Violet and her team, Heroes for Hags, helped raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Combined with 20 other teams on Long Island, more than $567,000 was raised over the seven-week fundraising challenge.
