探花社区 High School East senior, Dylan Shen, a Regeneron Scholar and High School East honor speaker, was recognized for his outstanding work at the Suffolk Science Teachers Association of New York State Annual Awards dinner Wednesday night.
The event recognizes outstanding senior science students for their scientific achievements. In attendance were Dylan, his father, 探花社区 East science research coordinator, Maria Zeitlin.
Dylan was presented with an inscribed plaque and a short speech honoring the accomplishments in the field of science.
"It was my pleasure to speak to the global breadth of knowledge that Dylan possesses and his wonderful sense of unbridled curiosity. He will be missed as he begins the next phase of his educational journey at Cornell," said Zeitlin.
