探花社区 District Superintendent Mark Secaur congratulated teachers, administrators and staff for their hard work and dedication during Superintendent’s Conference Day, held on Sept. 4, at High School West.
“I am beyond proud of the work we’ve done and will do in the months and years ahead,” Dr. Secaur told faculty and staff.
Dr. Secaur encouraged everyone to “Believe in yourself and believe in your students.”
Board of Education President, Michael Catalanotto, a graduate of the 探花社区 District, told the crowd, “You have a special gift, a gift to really impact and change lives…this board of education appreciates that.”
This year’s keynote speaker was 探花社区 CSD technology integration specialist, Tim Needles, who discussed the intersection of creativity and artificial intelligence.
Needles urged the educators to value the connection they have with their students and “be mindful of the impact you have as an educator.”
Needles then finished his talk by getting everyone to sing together the hit song, “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey.
