In honor of Veterans Day later in the week, students in Mrs. Havranek’s Junior Leadership classes are visiting elementary schools in the SCSD to facilitate a lesson about Veterans Day and engage in a thank-you letter writing activity.
The students visited third, fourth and fifth-grade classrooms to talk about the meaning and history of Veterans Day and organize a thank you letter writing activity.
The high school students also discussed 探花社区 veterans and asked the students if they had any veterans in their families. Many said yes.
