Students at High School West and East who have interest in business, finances, and sports management were treated to a presentation from Long Island Nets and Jovia Financial Credit Union on Monday.
Chris Dileonardo from Jovia Financial Union, and Griffin Tirolo, representing BSE Glob and the LI Nets, spoke to students about opportunities in a career in sports, financial literacy and protecting oneself against online and identity theft.
Dileonardo and Tirolo visited both high schools and several students also have signed up to attend a LI Nets game at Nassau Coliseum later this week.
