The Great Hollow Competition Club recently competed at Brookhaven National Laboratory with fantastic results!
The students designed and constructed magnetic levitation trains after school and brought them to the competition.
In the challenging wind category Allison Byrne placed first and Kayla Hakim placed second. In the futuristic design category Carter Jump and Alvin Lan placed second. Thomas Maria and Jeremy Schomber placed third for their design also. Jaiden Guglielmo placed second in the 3-D printed design category.
The club is advised by Technology Education teacher Mrs. Kerr-VanGostein. Congratulations to all the participants and winners!
