First graders at Mt. Pleasant Elementary are learning all about communication in a fun, new way!
In the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Light and Sound Module, MTP first graders are following the design process as they created a device that uses light or sound to communicate across a distance.
Students described the steps they used to create and test their design.
First graders also learned that engineers follow a similar process when they solve a problem.
