Congratulations to High School East soccer goalkeeper Diego Flores on being named this week’s News 12 Scholar Athlete award winner!
In the classroom, Diego maintains a 4.28 weighted GPA and is a member of the French, Math and Science honor societies.
On the pitch, Diego is a 3x League Goalkeeper of the Year, 2023 League MVP, 2022 All-State player, and is HSE's all-time leader in career shutouts with 23!
Diego's segment airs on News 12 beginning Tuesday night at 5pm and will also be on the News 12 website.
