Approximately 100 people showed their support for The Paige Keely Foundation on Monday by teeing it up at the second annual, Paige Keely Foundation Golf Classic.
Held at Nissequogue Golf Club, the event raised money for The Paige Keely Foundation, named after Paige Keely, who passed away in 2018 at the age of 6 from an undiagnosed brain AVM. Paige was a first grader at St. James Elementary School.
The event included golf, dinner, an auction, raffles, entertainment and special guest speakers Dr. Sima Mofakham and Dr. Chuck Mikell, representing the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. They will be discussing how to identify and manage risk factors for brain hemorrhage and AVM's.
