High School East and West AP Government students took part in a presidential simulation this week at Long Island University.
The students played the roles of president, vice president and members of the Cabinet. They had to analyze an issue, debate different positions, and recommend a course of action to the president who then gave a speech to the "Press Corps" announcing the decision.
Students also took a tour of the Museum of Democracy's exhibit on presidential elections.
