Several 5th grade St. James Elementary students participated in NYSSMA this year.
These wonderful musicians worked on a solo piece and performed it for a judge back in April.
Today Mrs. Irmscher and Mrs. Braunreuther awarded them with their medals.
Mrs. Irmscher said "I am so proud of these students and their dedication towards their instruments!"
These students were given a gift bag with their medals and honored in a small ceremony.
