First responders from the St. James fire department paid a special visit to St. James Elementary school on Thursday.
Students were given important safety tips about fire safety and the dangers of carbon monoxide.
They were shown how firefighters are their friends, even though they may “look scary” with their uniforms on.
The students then went outside to see a couple of St. James Fire Department trucks.
