Did you know today is International Dot Day?
International Dot Day is a day to connect, collaborate and create. Fifth graders at Mills Pond Elementary are participating by doing a STEM makerspace project.
Led by school librarian, Meghan Dyckova, students used candy dots and toothpicks to create a structure. They had to plan their structure out before building it on a worksheet. Then the other activity they had was to think about how they could make their mark which is what The Dot is all about!
Second graders are also participating in their own project.
Fun!
