Thank you to all the amazing families who joined together for the SCSD beach cleanup on Saturday, Oct. 26!
The SCSD's Green Team worked with AMSEAS (Atlantic Marine Conservation Society) for a beach clean up at Sunken Meadow.
155 people came out and every school in our district was represented! Volunteers collected over 120 pounds of trash -- mostly the small and easily ingested plastic pieces that are most dangerous for our marine life.
Great job by the SCSD Green Team!
