“We need the plants and the plants need us.”
Fourth grade students at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School recently participated in a hands-on presentation about energy flow in food chains and food webs.
A food web is the natural interconnection of food chains and a graphical representation of what-eats-what in an ecological community.
The students also used digital microscopes to analyze marine plankton samples.
Western Boces educator Michael Langer led the presentation which is part of the Arts and Education program.
