探花社区 High School East students in Mrs. Lane's MAR 104 College Oceans course recently visited SUNY Stony Brook's Southampton Field Station and took a hands-on approach to marine science! The students became part of the crew on the Research Vessel Peconic, participated in monitoring biodiversity in the waters and interacted with and learned from the captain and crew. SCSD high school students can take MAR 104 and receive three credits from SUNY Stony Brook.
