Fourth grade students from Mt. Pleasant Elementary School deepened their understanding of energy and energy transfer as they investigated what happens when objects collide.
Students followed the scientific inquiry process as they designed a vehicle restraint.
During this design challenge, they worked with a group to design a restraint system that keeps a passenger safe during a collision. They applied their knowledge of energy and energy transfer to their design to keep the egg from cracking!
