Third grade students at Dogwood Elementary met local author Darren Sardelli on Thursday. Mr. Sardelli is a humorous poet who shared with students how he went from not enjoying the craft of writing as a child to now making a living as a children's author!
His journey to becoming a writer and author was an inspiration to our students.
Mr. Sardelli shared with students many of his poems instilling a love of reading and poetry!
