Fifth-graders at Mills Pond Elementary School are on the case!
With help from Mad Science of Long Island, they’re using detective science to solve a crime!
On Monday, Shannon Sass from Mad Science of Long Island visited fifth grade classes and gave our students an introduction a detective science introduction to forensics.
The students "solved a crime" using real science of crime fingerprint analysis, eyewitness accounts and more.
Eventually, the students figured out that Miss Squires was responsible for the missing cookie recipe!
