Mt. Pleasant fifth grader, Candice Li, had an idea.
She told her teacher, Mrs. Metz, that she'd like to educate her classmates on the upcoming Lunar New Year.
So, with the help of school librarian Ms. Lutz, Candice created a slideshow presentation of Lunar New Year facts and helped her classmates make lanterns on Friday!
