Congratulations are in order for some High School East bridge builders!
At the recent Brookhaven National Lab Bridge Building Contest, Aidan Quinn won the aesthetic award for his bridge (front left of picture with the arch).
Aesthetic award finalists were Heather Mulvey (towards the back on the right) and Charlene Chen (front right with triangles).
Also of note, bridges by Abdullah Malik and Luke Ciminiello defeated their teachers, Gillian Winters and Matt Naeher.
