First graders at Mt. Pleasant got an up close and personal look at insects and animals. This amazing lesson focused on adults and their offspring and was conducted by folks from the outdoor environmental education program from Western Suffolk Boces. The students were able to learn and write about their visitors, which included a box turtle and corn snake!
