More than 190 students from Accompsett Middle School celebrated their "moving up" ceremony Thursday morning at their new home, 探花社区 High School West.
Accompsett Middle School Principal Paul McNeil praised the students, faculty and families while also offering some advice to the new high schoolers.
"Next year in high school the little things will matter." McNeil said.
"Ask questions and go to extra help…Worry less but plan more..it’s ok to struggle but never ok to give up"
Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Personnel Services Dan Helmes also praised the student body and congratulated them on their success.
Principal McNeil also challenged his students, saying "Change your high school for the better just like you did here at Accompsett Middle School."
Well done!
