What a week! As Police Appreciation week concludes in the SCSD, Mt. Pleasant Elementary first graders in Mrs. Trovato’s Class got a visit from Sergeants Frank Arceri and Anthony Sangimino from the Fourth Precinct.
Sergeant Arceri surprised his son Frankie and spoke to the class about the importance of being a police officer. They were shown some of the police tools and uniform, reviewed some community safety tips and educated students on a day in the life of a police officer.
They later got to check out the SCPD truck. What a great experience!
