First grade students at Tackan Elementary had a soothing session this week with registered therapy dog, "Jesse."
Jesse, an 8-year-old Shetland Sheep dog registered through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, was brought in by volunteer Shannon Keane, who said Jesse "cheers people up and brightens their days."
Once Jesse visits the kindergarten students at Tackan, she will have seen every grade at the school!
